The event is a symbolic Real Estate ceremony and is traditionally organized in all AIG/Lincoln projects as a sign of appreciation towards the workers for their hard work and efforts resulting in the achievement of a major construction milestone (the roof installations). The event was attended by the Mayor of Fiumicino, Mr. Mario Canapini and other offcials from the townhall. The presence of public authorities at the event highlighted the workers crucial role and contribution, in the realisation of a major development, such as Market Central Da Vinci, in the region. “Market Central Da Vinci will be an innovative retail structure for our Region and will provide for the widest range of merchandize and the largest assembly of retail units available…” states Marco Salvini, the Managing Director of AIG/Lincoln Italia. “a unique formula which will transform the Fiumicino area into a dominant shopping destination”. The grand opening of Market Central Da Vinci il scheduled to take place on September 6th 2007. AIG/Lincoln is presently developing other two retail projects in Hungary and the Czeck Republic and is planning to acquire additional five in major European markets, under the brand name Market Central, for a total of 290.000 m² of retail space Europewide.
